Hi, I'm Stef.
Let’s see. For the past ten years, my main identity has been Mom. I have five kids, ages 4, 7, 9, 12, and 13. The thirteen-year-old is a girl and the rest are boys, which equals a lot of fun and a lot of chaos.
Now that those child-birthing years are over, I am a children’s book writer. I recently graduated with a Masters of Education with an emphasis in Children’s Literature. I love kids and I love books, so kids’ books seems to be the perfect combination for me. However, I also love chocolate. So obviously, I need to be in the business of making edible chocolate books for kids. Genius!
This is what my family looks like 5% of the time. Okay, maybe 1%.
Okay, maybe just when we take a family picture:
This is what my family looks like 40% of the time:
And this is what my family looks like the rest of the time:
Happy, silly, and angry. We try to limit our emotions to those three. Any more than that and I find life is just way too complicated.
And in case you were wondering, we live in Pittsburgh. Which is awesome. And I love family music time, weekly date nights, and triathlons.
